The HW2R1 is the flagship product for Hawking's award-winning line of Hi-Gain Wi-Fi Range Extending products. Using two isolated Wi-Fi radios, the HW2R1 connects to your desired wireless Internet connection, such as a local Wi-Fi hot spot, neighborhood wireless network or office network and repeats the signal via a dedicated 300Mbps 802.11n Wi-Fi radio locally.

The HW2R1 Dual Radio Design elimiates wirelss deadspots around your home or office. Most wireless Access Points / Routers’ wireless performance diminishes after 150ft. As a result, you must stay close to an access point or router to surf the Internet, send emails, stream movie and play game online. The HW2R1 with dedicated built-in receiving radio pulls in the WiFi signal from your AP or Router, and redistributes it to hard to reach areas, around your home, office. With the Dual Radio Desgin, the HW2R1 is and ideal repeater for extended wireless applications, such bringing and existing wireless signal to your guest house, RV and Boat.

The HW2R1 is ideal for Wi-Fi connections to marine docks, RV parks, adjacent offices and homes with any source of wireless internet connection (including Wi-Fi networks). In addition, advanced firewall and router features included with the HW2R1 provide functional security for your entire extended network. TECHNOLOGY
Engineered with two Wi-Fi radios (dual-radio design), the Smart Repeater Pro dedicates one Wi-Fi radio to receiving and another to rebroadcasting signals. The receiving radio is accompanied by 3dBi removable antenna, can be upgraded to recieved singal from a further distance than a regular repeater. The rebroadcasting radio is connected to two 3dBi Omni-Directional antennas that extend the original wireless signal throughout your local surroundings and eliminates wireless dead spots. In addition, the HAW2R1 provides security and functionality via a full featured firewall and router. Its full router features let your build a secondary wireless network within an existing network.
